Start speaking a foreign language is hard! Specially, at the beginning. For this reason, today I bring 5 basic Spanish phrases for you. If you master these phrases, you can manage the conversation in a lot of situations. Let’s start!
1. ¡Hola! ¿Qué tal?
At the beginning, everything was darkness. All conversations start with a simple ¡Hola!
¡Hola! - Hello! - Bonjour!
¡Buenos días! - Good morning! - Bonjour! (from 06:00 to 13:00)
¡Buenas tardes! - Good evening! - Bonsoir! (from 13:00 to 21:00)

If you want to ask about how is other person you have to say:
¿Qué tal? / ¿Cómo estás? - How are you? - Comment ça va?
2. ¿Cómo te llamas? Me llamo…
Something crucial is asking the speaker’s name. For this, we would say:
¿Cómo te llamas? - What’s your name? - Comment tu t’appelles?
To answer this question you have to say:
Me llamo Felipe. - My name is Felipe. - Je m’appelle Felipe.
3. Encantado de conocerte.
The world is hard and rough, maybe we should be more polite. When someone introduces themself, we may answer:
